Kane Kenney is an Associate Attorney with the Heard Merman firm. Kane received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in May, 2019, with a concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. While studying at Boston University, Kane practiced as a student attorney with the Civil Litigation Clinic and handled a variety of cases dealing with Housing, Family, Unemployment, and Disability law.
Prior to joining the Heard Merman firm, Kane worked with Taylor, Book, Allen & Morris LLP and Kherkher Garcia LLP. At both offices, Kane had the opportunity to learn firsthand from experienced trial attorneys. Since joining the Heard Merman firm, Kane has continued to develop as a personal injury attorney, working up cases and securing settlements for injured clients. In July, 2021, Kane successfully tried his first case to verdict, securing a judgment of over $100,000.00 for the firm’s client on an insurance case. The partners of Heard Merman have no doubt that this verdict will not be Kane’s only victory in the near future, as Kane’s drive, determination, and legal skills shown thus far are a sign of many great things to come.
Kane is eager to continue developing his skills in all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation to trial, and he is honored to be able to serve the community’s injured under the direct guidance of two of the most prominent trial lawyers in Texas.
