Elizabeth Blount is an Associate Attorney with the Heard Merman firm and has dedicated herself to the zealous prosecution of personal injury and business interruption claims on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining Heard Merman, Elizabeth spent years as a successful Associate at two prestigious defense law firms where she was retained by some of the largest insurance companies to represent their insureds in personal injury lawsuits. Those experiences gave Elizabeth valuable insight into the inner workings of the insurance companies, which she now leverages to achieve the best results for Heard Merman’s clients. Elizabeth is passionate about the work she does on behalf of injured plaintiffs and strives to improve the lives of those who have suffered and been wrongfully injured.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in May of 2016. While in law school, Elizabeth was Vice President of the Moot Court Executive Board and also gained accolades competing as a brief writer. Prior to law school, she attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where she graduated with honors with a degree in history. Outside the firm, Elizabeth enjoys spending time at home in Houston with her husband, son, and beagle.
